From Spotsylvania, Va., Kobersteen played baseball at Courtland High School. As a freshman at George Washington University, he earned Atlantic 10 Honor Roll honors. Currently, Kobersteen pitches for Mary Washington, where he's registered three wins in ten appearances. Kobersteen is a sociology major.
