The Alexandria Aces will face the Olney Cropdusters for the second time this season on Wednesday night at OBGC Park. First pitch is set for 5:00. Alexandria beat Olney 8-4 on Opening Day at Frank Mann Field.

Alexandria’s two-game winning streak ended last night, as it fell to the D.C. Grays, 12-4. The Aces registered eight hits but couldn’t capitalize on their opportunities. Olney is also coming off a 10-5 loss to D.C on Monday. They’re currently 1-5 and will be motivated to secure a much-needed win over Alexandria on their home field.

Ben Koomey (RPI) is expected to take the mound for the Aces. He last pitched in an 11-4 loss to the Giants. Justin Woodbury (0-1) will start for the Cropdusters. In his one appearance this season, he allowed just one run off Bethesda in 3.1 innings.
