The Alexandria Aces finish off their Maryland road trip in Bethesda at Shirly Povich Field against the league’s frontrunning Big Train. First pitch is set for 7 p.m.

Seth Marano (Lansing CC) with start for the Aces looking to improve his 1-1 record. The lefty tossed five innings against the Big Train June 16 in a 5-10 loss. He allowed just four earned runs in the outing.
Anthony Piccolino is slated to oppose. The Aces got a look at left-handed junior back on June 23 in a 13-5 loss. Piccolino faced just two batters in the outing.
Bethesda is coming off gutty a 15-11 comeback win over the second place Bolts and will be looking to continue their dominance over the league as they’re the three-time defending champions.
