The Aces travel to play the Braves on Friday, looking for their first win of the season. Alexandria dropped the first three games of the season and look to complete their three game road trip with their first win of 2019.
The Braves are also winless in three tries this season. The Braves have dropped games to Gaithersburg, D.C. and Silver Spring so far this season. The Braves have been outscored 18-9 in those games.
The Aces have been outscored 21-8 in their three contests. Head Coach Chris Berset made some changes at the end of an 8-0 loss to Bethesda on Thursday night and may keep tinkering with his lineup until the team has success.
Aces pitching has struggled with command at times and the hitters have gone silent for long portions of games. The last 13 Aces hitters were retired in order against the Big Train on Thursday night.
The Aces will look for a more complete performance from the pitching staff and the lineup as they finish up this road trip before heading home on Saturday.
First pitch on Friday will be at 7 p.m. and can be heard on mixlr.com/alexandriaaces.
